If you are like me, you probably don’t much like most protein powders. The chalky taste, the aftertaste and just pain to blend. I have generally had good luck with Vega protein products.
So, I usually add a flavor boost to mine, like this one with a cinnamon sugar crumble that is blended in and used as garnish. It adds a texture as well as flavor burst to the shake. Pictured, french vanilla shake and chocolate shake with the snickerdoodle crumble!

I use Vega vanilla protein and greens:)
I have yet to find a protein shake for vegans that we like. I have not yet tried Vega so this would be a great to win. Vega is on my list to try since we are new vegans we haven’t gotten to all of them yet.
My boyfriend got me a variety pack of vegan protein powders for Valentine’s Day this year. The Vega One brand was definitely my favorite, I liked chocolate the best but the vanilla and chai were good too. I also liked the vanilla flavored Phood brand. I used that to make a birthday cake shake with a little almond milk and yellow cake mix 🙂 I normally just drink with water on my way home from the gym, but this snickerdoodle recipe sounds fabulous.
I’ve been bouncing back and forth between brands for some time, but now my top two picks are NuZest and Ka’Chava.
I use vega! In smoothies and overnight oats
Vega one vanilla chai is my fave I have two full canisters right now so I don’t run out. Although I haven’t tried their other flavors I am sure they are all delish.
I recently tried a sample of Vega One. It is the only protein powder I have ever tried so I have nothing to compare it with. I was pleasantly surprised! I would definitely use it again. Thanks for such an awesome giveaway!
I have tried Rawfit but would love to try Vega!
I’ve been using Z naturals pea protein powder with ground flax seed in my morning smoothie. Would love to try the Vega protein!
i love my vega! i also love pure hemp protein from nutiva.
