If you are like me, you probably don’t much like most protein powders. The chalky taste, the aftertaste and just pain to blend. I have generally had good luck with Vega protein products.
So, I usually add a flavor boost to mine, like this one with a cinnamon sugar crumble that is blended in and used as garnish. It adds a texture as well as flavor burst to the shake. Pictured, french vanilla shake and chocolate shake with the snickerdoodle crumble!

Haven’t tried any protein powders yet but looking forward to trying some
I like Orgain mixed with almond or cashew milk but I’d love to try Vega!
I really like Phood brand powder!
I’m a soy girl
I am a big fan of the vanilla Vega Protein and Greens. I usually do 1 cup of chocolate almond milk, a frozen banana, a scoop of powder and some ice cubes. It’s the perfect snack in the afternoon. I will agree that the Stevia taste is not my favorite, but it’s hard to find a protein mix now that doesn’t use that as its sweetener.
Love vega in protein smoothies and pancakes!
Vega is my favorite plant based protein for smoothies and shakes. Easy and delicious!
SunWarrior is the only one I’ve tried so far. I like it in smoothies but not oatmeal.
I am currently a full time graduate student, graduate assistant, and just about to finish my thesis. I am also a high endurance athlete living and training above 7,500ft who has found the switch to a plant based diet almost two years ago has almost eliminated all previous injuries and recovery time is incredible. Training so high I understand the importance of protein, iron, and b12. I have currently been using garden of life raw protein blend with cholera, spirulina, and maca because it is more affordable for a college student. However, I have purchased vega all-in-one nutritional shake one time and my energy levels soared through the roof! I hope after school I will be able to always have it on hand.
I have not used a protein powder, I have always been worried about weird taste and texture. I hear great things about Vega and plan to purchase some soon to use in smoothies and homemade protein bars to keep my kids fueled during lacrosse season!
