Snickerdoodle Protein Shakes | Vegan Richa

If you are like me, you probably don’t much like most protein powders. The chalky taste, the aftertaste and just pain to blend. I have generally had good luck with Vega protein products.

So, I usually add a flavor boost to mine, like this one with a cinnamon sugar crumble that is blended in and used as garnish. It adds a texture as well as flavor burst to the shake. Pictured, french vanilla shake and chocolate shake with the snickerdoodle crumble!

I haven’t gotten to try Vega yet. So far I’ve had PlantFusion’s cookies and cream flavor. I love putting some peanut butter in my shake after a workout!

Hi- I love Naturade’s VeganSmart. Not only is it plant based, it also contains everything I need in just one serving. The vanilla tastes like cake batter (which better way is there to sneak a taste of cake batter into your diet?) and the Chai is amazing as well as the chocolate. I used Naturade to bake brownies, pies, to blend in smoothies and also for breakfast pancakes (that i seem to enjoy at any time of the day.) There are so many ways to make protein powders fit into your diet than the typical powder/liquid mix! I loved this recipe, can’t wait to try it. 🙂

Vega is actually my favorite protein powder! It’s so nice to see it being recognized here. Generally, I’ll blend it with non dairy milk, half of a banana, 1 cup of frozen berries, and some chia seeds for a super tasty and super filling breakfast smoothie. This recipe looks great, though, and I’m looking to branch out flavor-wise!

Probably vega, I don’t use protein powders much though so I’m afraid the most creative thing I do with them is just blend them into a smoothie…usually with cocoa and bananas and some other stuff

My favorite way to use protein powder is using chocolate powder blended with banana and peanut butter with almond milk. Tastes too delicious, like dessert for breakfast! 🙂

I love soy protein powder in shakes.

I’ve been using Manitoba Harvest’s Hemp protein recently. Since it’s just hemp seed I know the taste and know there’s nothing added. I’ve been adding it to my overnight oats with fruit, almond butter, and almond milk. Delish!
