Snickerdoodle Protein Shakes | Vegan Richa

If you are like me, you probably don’t much like most protein powders. The chalky taste, the aftertaste and just pain to blend. I have generally had good luck with Vega protein products.

So, I usually add a flavor boost to mine, like this one with a cinnamon sugar crumble that is blended in and used as garnish. It adds a texture as well as flavor burst to the shake. Pictured, french vanilla shake and chocolate shake with the snickerdoodle crumble!

I absolutely love Vega as it is so universal e.g. in my smoothies, on-the-go, in my clean “protein mug cakes.”

I have to say, VEGA truly is my favorite because I do so much with it whether it be on the go, in a smoothie, or in a clean “Mug Cake” its always there for me (and all the Vega lovers!)

My favorite plant based protein powder is Vega One – Coconut Almond. I use it after every workout in my Kale Mojito from the Thrive Cookbook.

Hi there! I’ve been a fan of your blog for a while now. It is my first time posting. I made your ginger cookies the other night (I have an auto immune and sometimes lack of appetite is one of my biggest challenges). The only thing i wanted was ginger to the point where I was eating candied ginger straight…like candy so! I made your cookies! Huge hit, especially for my boyfriend who is currently vegetarian and attempting to transition to becoming vegan. As for an answer to the questions, I have used Raw Fit in the past. I have tried the chai flavor by vega but highly disliked it. I heard that a lot of the other flavors are much better, especially the chocolate or the original and would love to try the others ones, as it’s one of the highest rated protein powders among the community!

Hi willow, that is awesome that you loved the cookies! I had a few months of too much nausea and no appetite and ate a ton of ginger and Indian pickles.
      Do try the other flavors!

I really like Garden of Life RAW, PlantFusion, and Sun Warrior. I use them in so many different ways – mixed into oatmeal, as a post-workout protein shake, protein ice cream or pudding, protein spread when mixed with peanut butter for rice cakes…I love my protein powder lol. Thanks for the chance to win some Vega, I’ve heard awesome things about it!

Haven’t tried any vegan ones yet but I want to!

I’ve never tried vegan protein powders, but I’d love to try them out! In the past I’ve just added nuts and/or nut butters in an attempt to amp up the protein.
