The cashew ginger sauce was obviously going to be a hit because you know, anything nutty and ginger sauce! I added some bean sprouts and carrots and healthy garnish of pepper flakes to round it off as a meal.

I love all of Dreena’s recipes but the family meal that comes to mind is Oh She Glows sundried tomato-spinach-mushroom pie (from the website). It’s kind of like a quiche with tofu. Made it for my in laws who are less than health nuts and they loved it! Dreena’s red Thai curry from LTEV is one of my husband’s and my staples!

  2. Nan says:

BBQ Chickpeas and green beans is one of the easiest last minute recipes I can think of. That being said, I haven’t tried all of the recipes yet, so my favourite might change!

  3. Erica says:

I love it all, but my kids are probably most fond of veggie chili.

Any kind of stirfry – just last night was a simple tofu stir fry with whatever veg was left in the fridge, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, tamari and chili paste.

Thanks for this wonderful giveaway. We really enjoy everything from Dreena’s cookbook. We are a big fan here of her recipes. Lately, we’ve been really enjoying salad full of good stuff. One of our best one is the kale salad recipe with the awesome dressing in Let Them Eat Vegan.

Veggie burgers are always sure to please my two picky eaters… my parents 🙂

  9. Liz says:

My favorite family meal is one that is on the table the quickest! I always have a sauteed green, hummus, sweet potatoes and some kid of veggie burger in the fridge so most meals consist of that.

I love Dreena Burton and her wonderful recipes! I use her first book all the time and I’d love to get my hands on this one! Our favorite vegan meal is lentil meatloaf cupcakes with mashed potato “frosting” and pea “sprinkles.”
