I whipped up the Sneaky chickpea burgers within minutes. Burgers from the book below with a healthy helping of basil. Hubbs has been devouring these as snacks with his evening tea, while he preps for his weekend hike.

The cashew ginger sauce was obviously going to be a hit because you know, anything nutty and ginger sauce! I added some bean sprouts and carrots and healthy garnish of pepper flakes to round it off as a meal.

This book is for healthy vegan comfort food for families with kids. Hence, you will find a lot of simple and easy everyday recipes that are kid approved. There are also tips for meal planning, batch cooking, packing school lunches. The book does not have adventurous or exotic food or complex recipes. Its a great guide for vegan families that are starting out or a great addition for tips, easy meals, tackling situations for the experienced. Thank you for writing this wonderful book Dreena. My favorite meal is potatoes, lentil loaf, and corn on the cob.
My favorite vegan meal is any that I did not cook!!!! I do eat a lot of veggie burgers, so I’d love to win and try her recipes.
I’m a sucker for curries. They’re easily customizable depending on what veggies or protein I have on hand, I can play with the spices and they’re fast.
Our favorite vegan meal is lentil soup with a lot of vinegar and roasted bread crumbs on the top.
Our favorite family meal is homemade vegan pizza! 🙂
Vegan lasagna with plenty of veggies and cashew-basil “ricotta cheese” has replaced my Mom’s standby meat-filled lasagna at Christmas!! They love it!

I went from being a meat eater straight into being vegan..its been two months now.. It is possible to make a drastic transition if you have set your heart and mind to it.. I was told to make my transition into vegetarian then into vegan..but i said i could do this and i have.. Your recipes are very much helpful for someone who is a newbie to vegan.. I love your spanish rice buffalo tempeh kale bell pepper wraps… What is even more exciting, my family has been experiencing my cooking and like it (FIANCÉ, daughters,my parents, and the in laws to be)..
