- Keep burger patties mixture moist. Use egg replacer/binder. If the mixture feels dry, mash it well and add a flax egg, aquafaba egg or applesauce/sweet potato puree until the mixture can be easily shaped without falling apart.Â
- If the mixture is too wet, chill it for 15 minutes or more, Or add breadcrumbs/flour. Â
- Keep track of the extra moisture from the veggies. Some veggies like cauliflower or zucchini will keep leaking moisture into the patties. Pre-cook the veggies before adding to burger mixture, or keep the time lag between prepping, making the burger mixture to cooking the burgers minimal.Â
- Mash it well. Larger beans or larger chopped veggies will lead to the patties breaking easily. Mash them beans and finely chop the veggies.Â
- Pack the patties well. For pretty and well packed patties, use large cookie cutters!

Happy Summer!

I love veg burgers. I use the mason-jar lid and ring for a wide-mouth jar as my burger press. It works well and pops right out.
if we are not able to make a vegan bun/bread is there a certain brand, if any that you would recommend?
yes there are multiple brands which are selling vegan buns like Albani and blueribbon. I have been using these for my training
Endless vegan options and all delicious! It is amazing that humans would even consider devouring the mashed up flesh and blood of murdered beings. Vegan is the only way…….for the earth, for all living beings, for health. Living with compassion is the only way. Treat all living beings as you would want to be treated.
Thank you so much for the grill-able artichoke spinach cauliflower bean burger recipe! The texture is perfect and they taste great! I have tried so many different veggie burger recipes over the years and they mostly turned out too soft and soggy or had some overpowering flavor. All your recipes are amazing!!!
Awesome!!
My Bro is a vegan and he’s coming over for a bbq next week. Been scratching my head over what to cook for him. i think the burger with mango carrot cabbage slaw will go down a treat. Thanks for posting!
Try the lentil walnut burgers with some vegan cheese melted over them.
